 NGN welcomes new staff!

NGN welcomes two new members of staff to the team.

Mike Plummer will take up his post as National Training Officer on a part-time basis from early September, and will be in the role on a full-time basis from January 2011.Mike brings wide experience in areas close to the heart of NGN. He's worked in support of SEN and SEBD students throughout his career, in schools, county councils, and pupil referral units (amongst other places!). He also works part-time as a psychotherapist, and has excellent knowledge of the neuroscientific theory behind nurturing and attachment , which we hope to use to provide additional new courses as well as broadening our ability to take nurture beyond its traditional roots in primary and secondary schools.

Hannah Millinship started as Angela Sarkis's EA at the end of June, and has already seen a change of office during her time at NGN! Her last position was as PA to the CEO and Chair of the Sustainable Development Commission, and before that she spent 3 years working as a Teaching Assistant in Japan. Hannah is a highly skilled Executive Assistant  and  in addition to her support of Angela  has taken lead responsibility for the Website, preparing policy briefings and supporting the Executive Committee.
