Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions asked of the Nuture Group Network.

Can I visit a nurture group?

Most nurture groups allow visitors but care must be taken not to disrupt the routines of the group or be intrusive. For details of groups in your area please contact 020 3040 3000 (membership). The list of schools who have achieved the quality mark award is a good place to start if you wish to contact a nurture group, click here

How do I get funding for my nurture group?

This is a difficult question to answer as nurture groups are funded in a variety of ways and access a range of funding streams. You may wish to contact a group in your area for advice or speak to one of our staff. Contact 020 3040 3000

Are there nurture groups for older children?

There is increasing interest in nurture groups at Key Stage 3. These may not be run along classic Boxall lines, but the principles remain the same. Many of the difficult behaviours presented by older children have the same characteristics as those exhibited by younger children and are a function of their poor attachment experiences.

How can I make a donation to the Nurture Group Network?

Donations of any value are always welcome. Please contact the office. info@nurturegroups.org or phone 020 3040 3000
