Local Nurture Group Network Meetings

There are a number of network meetings around the country for staff who work in or support Nurture Groups.  These are often organised by our Network Co-ordinators, and are an opportunity to network, get support and training.  There is no cost.

Warwickshire WINGS

The Warwickshire WINGS meetings are always held on a Thursday after school.  They start at 4pm and usually finish about 5.15.  Schools volunteer to host the meetings and provide tea and biscuits, as well as taking brief notes that form the basis of the minutes.  

The dates and venues for the next school year are:

16th October 2008 at Camp Hill Primary

27th November 2008 at Race Meadow - Linda Jones will be giving a presentation on Parenting Puzzles

26th February 2009 at St. Paul's

23rd April 2009 at Abbey Infants or Queen's Junior - tbc

25th June at Chilvers Coton - Information on Play Therapy

Bournemouth

There is a Nurture Group Network meeting on Tuesday 14th October between 4 and 5pm.  They will be sharing ideas on 'Theraplay' and meeting Caroline Hawkes the Nurture Group Network South West Regional Co-ordinator.  The meeting will take place in St Marks Church of England Primary School, Talbot Village Bournemouth.  If you are planning on joining the meeting plese phone the school on 01202 512241

Hampshire

There are termly support meetings in Hampshire - any school in the area can attend.

There is Pembrokeshire network meeting arranged for 1st October a The Meads Infant and Nursery School at 1pm.  Cardigan school staff are also invited.
